Details

Amberley is a young mare who has the potential to excel in dressage, jumping or eventing.  She has lovely flowing paces, with a lovely trot with great extensions and a very comfy uphill canter. She also has a sensitive but sweet personality and tries hard to please.

Amberley's sire, Aspen, known as either Belcam Aspen or AEA Aspen, is a modern, elegant warmblood sporthorse with elastic movement and enormous jumping ability. Aspen is by Belcam Aalto who is by the imported then exported Grand Prix Jumping stallion, Aachen. Aspen's dam is by the Grand Prix Showjumper and Australian champion, Silveneer. Therefore Aspen carries 3 Grand Prix showjumpers in the first two generations of his pedigree. Aspen's progeny are showing great potential and style in jumping, dressage and are also excelling in eventing. Amberley's dam, Summer Rose, was by Gelriano (imp) who was a prolific sire of dressage and jumping horses.  Gelriano himself won his 4 & 5 year old stallion jumping classes as well as winning at advanced level dressage. He was also succesful in the show ring winning at numerous Royals.

Amberley has had 2 outings to the Goulburn and District Showjump Club on 1st September 2013 and then on 2 February 2014, and she has also competed at her first event which was Berrima Horse Trials 22/23 March 2014 where she was very well behaved, I couldn't have asked for more from her. She stood tied to the float all day, she was a little tense in her dressage but the judge remarked 'she has lovely paces, just has to relax more for better marks', she was clear showjumping and clear cross country though we took our time so she could take it all in.
