Ava Jive Magic Jazz
Kind of Magic
Jubilee Colombine Carbine

Born 02/11/07, Ava is a well conformed, expressive young mare with elevated, elastic paces and an active hindleg action.  She has the desired movement for dressage with plenty of swing and impulsion.  She is a quick thinking young horse, willing to please and a delight to have around.  Expected to mature 16.1hh. Ava was broken-in in November 2011 and then spelled. She was brought back into full work 2nd April 2012 until 30th July 2012 showing enormous potential as a dressage horse. Ava was then turned out for the rest of the winter, but was brought back into work again November 2012 and is still in work as of May 2013 and going really well, training over cross country fences and showjumping 80cm with ease.

Ava is by Jive Magic [Jazz / Kind of Magic] out of Jubilee Colombine [Carbine (Carbid) / Cassiopeia (Close Encounters)].  Jive Magic's sire Jazz was the number one dressage sire in the world in 2011.  Jive Magic is a very powerful dressage horse with great extensions, piaffe and passage. He and Rozzie Ryan won the Sydney CDI 3 star in 2010 and his younger brother Chatham Park Jac under Rachael Sanna has already represented Australia in the Dressage Team at WEG in Aachen in 2006.  Jive Magic's first ever foal Jeff the Chef W is having great success with Silva Martin in the USA at Grand Prix level.

Jubilee Colombine's sire Carbine is still the highest scoring colt at the AWHA licencing. He won the five year old Champion of Champions Queensland Young Dressage Horse and was a very successful show horse, winning at Sydney and Brisbane Royal Shows.  Carbine is producing very good show and dressage horse and is making his mark as a sire of eventers. Jubilee Colombine's dam is by Close Encounters (Contact) who was a World Cup showjumper under Andrew Inglis.
