Description
Marcellus is a very handsome chap with unusual face markings and 2 long socks on diagonal legs. He is a calm young horse, easy to handle, trim, lead and worm. He is by Royal Oak 11 who was competing Grand Prix dressage with Deon Stokes before heading back to Narbethong Stud, WA in 2018. Marcellus' dam, AEA Rivoly is by Rituel, who was imported as a yearling from Belgium by Mary Hanna and then purchased by Dirk Djikstra from AEA Burong in 2001. He was very successful at Prix St Georges and Inter 1 level dressage with Dirk. He was the 1999 Champion of Champions at the Australian Young Horse Dressage Championships (now known as DWTS). Rituel also scored one of the highest classifications ever given at the AWHA colt selection. On Rivoly's dam side is Dutchman, a well known producer of dressage and jumping horses. Marcellus is expected to mature 17.2hh.
