Moses Laffranchi San Rubin II
 Jingle R
AEA Dolche  Dutchman

Moses is an athletic young horse, who can really move around the paddock! He has a big trot, and lovely canter. He is by our homebred stallion, Ballymount Laffranchi, who is by San Rubin 11. San Rubin 11 is currently competing PSG/Inter 1 and showing talent over jumps. Laffranchi's dam is by Jive Magic, who was an extremely successful Grand Prix stallion whose career was curtailed by injury. Laffranchi was sold to QLD where he is competing very successfully as a Show Hunter, his most recent success was winning the Show Hunter class 15hh -15.2hh at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. Moses' dam, AEA Dolche, is by Dutchman, who was a successful dressage horse and showjumper. Dutchman won the Geelong Showjumping Club's high jump competition in 1993. He was also the winner of the 1998 Coprice Free Jumping Challenge jumping a height of 1.90m. Moses was bred with eventing in mind, and we believe he has the scope and ability to be successful in this discipline. But he could just as well succeed as a dressage horse as he has huge paces. Moses was broken in from 1st August - 16th September 2016, where he proved to be willing under saddle with an alert demeanour, he then spelled for 3 months until December 2016 where he was brought back in for another 4 weeks work. Moses then had 11 months out in the paddock and was restarted through November 2017 by Ben Johnson of BBJ Equestrian Training. Moses has had several outings now, 2 to the Goulburn Dressage Club training days in October 2018 and in March 2019, and 1 to the Goulburn and District Showjump Club in March also where he popped over the X-rails in order to get his confidence. He is currently  16hh.
